South Mesa is one of my favorite spots for portraits if you’re looking for that classic Colorado look. You’ll get open fields, mountain views, wooded trails, and beautiful natural light, especially around golden hour. There’s a nice mix of landscapes so your gallery can feel varied without having to travel to multiple locations.


Sandstone Ranch

Longmont, Colorado

A beautiful location with a rustic Colorado feel, Sandstone Ranch offers a mix of open fields, sandstone cliffs, historic ranch details, trails, water, and mountain views. There are lots of different backdrops within a short walking distance. Dogs are not allowed.

Chautauqua

If you’re looking for that classic Colorado look, Chautauqua is hard to beat. With the iconic Flatirons towering behind an open meadow, this location gives you a beautiful mix of mountain views, tall grasses, wildflowers, and natural trails.
